Our REALTOR Grand Opening party is set for Thursday, July 8th at Noon with a public Grand Opening to follow on the weekend of July 10 and 11.

The Loma Vista new model home park is now being decorated. These two new models are looking great and buyers and REALTORS® are loving them. When decorating is complete we will prepare for our big grand opening which is planned for the weekend of July 10 and 11, 2010. Loma Vista Models are in the eighth and final step of the construction process. The eighth step of the FieldStone Certified Home Program covers final inspection and overall review of structure, inside finish-out and testing of appliances and mechanical items.
As you can see the landscaping is going in. New Homes offer a better selection of landscape options that hold up in drought and heat. New Home Building in San Antonio

The Loma Vista models are almost near completion. We are in our seventh step of our New Home Certified Quality Checkpoints Program. The mechanical trim, flooring, tile, lighting, plumbing, fireplace and air conditioning are all being installed now.
Our faucets are all from Delta®. Delta Faucets offers a comprehensive warranty and confidence earned through a punishing regimen of durability testing. Before any Delta faucet leaves the plant, every faucet undergoes more than 100 hand inspections, including air and water testing. Delta has been around for 50 years, so they know exactly what it takes to be on top.
Our countertops are in and are supplied by WilsonArt®. WilsonArt has been in business since 1956 and has become one of the leading wholesale distributors of decorative laminate products.
Our HVAC has also been installed. Well we are moving on with our new Loma Vista Model Park. The homes are looking great. Our drywall is up and the interior trim is in which is our fifth quality check point in our FieldStone Certified Home Program.
The sixth quality check point is the Interior Paint. We use Sherwin-Williams SUPERPAINT® on all of our homes. Sherwin-Williams’ quality ranks among the top in the industry. That is why FieldStone uses it on the exterior and interior of all their homes. It is resistant against peeling, blistering, fading and chalking. SUPERPAINT latex satin is long lasting and offers a durable coating which means better touch-up and much easier maintenance. Our models are decorated with accent colors to show just how easy it is to decorate your home with the latest colors available on the market. Check out all the new home building partners.

FieldStone Homes passed it first inspection with its third party inspectors with flying colors. So the forth checkpoint of our Eight-Step Quality Checkpoint program of a FieldStone Certified Home is in the works. The sheetrock has been delivered and both models are ready for drywall.
Dryall Delivery
The REHAU Plumbing System has also been installed. This advanced plumbing system consists of RAUPEX PEX pipe and the EVERLOCK fitting system. This system has better water flow than equivalent copper tube systems that are in a majority of older homes. REHAU’s PEX plumbing system is a proven reliable system that provides pure, clean drinking water. It provides years of consistent flow and water pressure, resists scaling and deposit build-up, quiet operations and has a 25-year limited warranty.

We survived all the big rains and are getting ready to hit it hard. Our third party inspectors will be out tomorrow and we are looking forward to a 100% on our inspections. The rain has put us a little behind but not much.
As you can see our shingles have been put up and look really nice. Our Owens Corning shingles have a 25 year warranty and are applied per manufacturer specifications over radiant barrier decking. This combined with our already ENERGY STAR Certified Home makes this home extremely energy efficient.
The wood-burning fireplace is being installed in our 2588 two-story model. Our fireplaces meet all applicable safety standards including the double wall flue piping system. Our fireplaces are also equipped with fresh air-venting to ensure ease of operation.
As you can see in our 1438 one-story model the new sloped ceilings are being framed in. This is a new option now being offered along with 9 ft ceilings by FieldStone Homes.
The covered patios are really a nice touch. Fieldstone Homes offers different size covered patios for your family’s needs.

Siding Goes Up at Loma Vista Homes

FieldStone is now at week three of the new Loma Vista model park and it is moving fast! The siding is up, the windows are in and the electrical work has started.
Framing and Mechanical is the third inspection checkpoint on our Eight-Step Quality Checkpoints Program of a FieldStone Certified Home. Also at this inspection checkpoint, FieldStone will bring in an independent inspector and the city inspector to make sure all is 100% before we move on to inspection step four.
By the time FieldStone completes a home, customers can be certain that every detail has been studied, installed and inspected with great care. That’s what the FieldStone Certified Home Program is all about – customer satisfaction and delivering a quality built home.
2-Story Model At Loma Vista
As you can see on the 2,588 square foot two-story model, we are now offering the new Prairie style lowE double-pane windows. They sure make this new model look sharp.
